The breath, the fluctuating matter that flows through our veins. How would it be if the fabrics began to live? Now I feel their living heartbeats in front of me, their desire of becoming one with the body. I close my eyes, I perceive the frenzied instant that has been created and that is begging for help. I grab my needle and my thread. I accompany the fabric on his journey of restless sleep and poetry, full of music and places. The fabric starts to interact with the body, the blood pumps through the silk and develops veins, which give the life to the fabric itself. And it caresses the body by forming the structure and the possession becomes one and alive.

The collection is a path that stays halfway among the things that unify all the living forms (veins and nerves). Virtually, this process is an integration between man and Nature, a step in which the first develops the idea of importance of the second as a part of himself and the world. Everything begins with the sound of a heartbeat, the most blatant sign of the birth of each living being.

The soft fabric begins to come alive since the first outfit: as first “life-form”, there is an asymmetrical bleached blouse and the seams have the shape of a cardiogram, in order to transmit a feeling of alchemy between fabric and living form to the viewer. The silhouette is asymmetric in respect of Nature (it is sinuous and structured), while the waist is as thin as a tree with its elegance and grandeur. Some outfits are exposed to the Sun: their sleeves point up like leaves and others are less pointed, like plants at sunset. The profile represents the water. The colour palette of the cuffs recalls earth tonalities. Embroidery and painting of fabrics are placed under the fabric itself (under the skin) to invoke the symphonies of the Creation.

This collection is born from a reflection of the image of Nature that surrounds the collection itself and prevails on everything.

Respiro: La fluttuante materia che ti scorre nelle vene… Come sarebbe se i tessuti prendessero vita? Ora sento il loro battito davanti a me, il loro desiderio di diventare tutt’uno con il corpo. Chiudo i miei occhi, percepisco l’istante frenetico che è stato creato e che chiede aiuto. Prendo il mio ago e il mio filo. Accompagno il tessuto nel suo viaggio di dormiveglia e poesia, pieno di musica e di luoghi non luoghi. Il tessuto comincia a interagire con il corpo. Il sangue pulsa fra la seta e genera venature.

La collezione è un percorso a metà strada tra ciò che accomuna tutti gli esseri viventi (venature e nervature) e la fibra tessile, tra umanità e prodotto mercificato. Virtualmente, tale processo é integrazione fra uomo e natura, un passo in cui il primo sviluppa la consapevolezza dell’importanza della seconda come parte di sé e del mondo. Ogni cosa inizia col battito di un cuore, il più ovvio dei segnali della nascita di un essere vivente.

I tessuti leggeri cominciano a prendere vita sin dal primo vestito. La silhouette è asimmetrica come la natura, sinuosa e strutturata. La vita è sottile e cinghiata come l’imponenza e l’eleganza di un albero. Le maniche riprendono il percorso di un vegetale, asimmetriche e nervate;in alcuni outfit sono esposte al sole quindi sono rivolte verso l’alto, il altre meno spigolose come le piante al calar del sole. Ricami e disegni dei tessuti sono nascosti all’interno del tessuto stesso, come fossero sotto la pelle, per invocare una sorta di sinfonia della Creazione. I tessuti vanno dal crépe di chine (che negli ultimi capi, sposa il neoprene) alla tripla seta di organza fino ad arrivare al tessuto gommato, al cotone operato, al cotone spalmato e per chiudere con l’alcantara. La gamma colori richiama quelli della terra nelle sue sfaccettature.

Questa collezione è nata da una riflessione molto comune sull’integrità della natura con ciò che la circonda. Ella prevale su tutto e scorge anche dal cemento, diventando sempre più forte.
